Funeral service for Lois Pauline Hill, age 98, of Manitou, Oklahoma, was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2018, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Bill Blevins officiating.
Mrs. Hill passed away Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at her home in Manitou.
Burial was in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home, of Frederick, Oklahoma.
She was born May 21, 1919, in Hinton, Oklahoma, to Ozrow and Minnie (Shaw) Pierce. She was united in marriage to Haskell William Hill in July 10, 1943. He preceded her in death on October 28, 1965. She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and crocheting. She was a longtime member of the First Missionary Baptist Church in Frederick.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a stillborn son: Keith Hill; three sisters: Mable Peck, Thelma Goddard and Zelda Phillips; and a great granddaughter: Megan Workman.
She is survived by three sons: Wayne Hill, Lawton, Oklahoma, Royce Hill and Kenny Hill, both of Manitou, Oklahoma; three daughters: Sue Fewin and Rita Grant, both of Weatherford, Texas, and Jeanne Haston, of Norman, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren: Christy Poage and husband Randy, Stoney Whittle, Sharon Hill, Brian Grant and wife Amy, Keri Blevins and husband Bill, Mindy Hallaway and husband Jimmy, Chad Haston, Terri Ledford and husband Raymond, and Kacey Haston Churchwell; 20 great grandchildren: Tanner, Conner, Caitlyn and Eli Poage, Massie and Lindon Grant, Kaylee and Brady Blevins, Alexis, Kayci, Bo and Lola Hallaway, Rylan Ray, Halle Coopman, Ethan and River Haston, Garrett Ledford, Isaac and Corbin Churchwell and Samantha Mendez; two great great grandchildren: Addison Workman and Chloe Mendez; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces, great nephews and cousins.
