Troy Lee Thomas

            Memorial graveside service for Troy Lee Thomas, age 83, former Jewelry Store Owner, of Davidson, Oklahoma, will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Davidson Cemetery with Reverend Les Banks officiating.             Mr. Thomas died Thursday, March 15, 2018, at Memorial Nursing Center in Frederick. Arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home, of Frederick.             He was born August 2, 1934, to Cecil Earl and Viannah (Reed) Thomas, at Davidson, Oklahoma. He attended Davidson schools and graduated with the  Class of 1953. He then attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford and then Gem City College, in Quincy, Illinois. Troy owned and operated Thomas Jewelry in Frederick for many years. He was a charter member of the Frederick Jaycees and he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Davidson, Oklahoma.             He is survived by several cousins to include: Julia Gold, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Lynda Akin, of Edmond, Oklahoma; a cousin: Jenny Lou Reed Nimnicht, Austin, Texas; and a close neighbors and friends: Albert and Judy Garza, of Davidson, Oklahoma.             He was preceded in death by his father: Cecil Thomas, on November 6, 1983; and his mother Viannah Thomas, on February 20, 2008; a brother: Doyle Wayne Thomas; a cousin: Meredith Golden Wilcox.             Memorial contributions may be sent to the Davidson Cemetery, c/o Valor Bank, 102 S.
