Sarah Janette Amos went on to her reward at Baylor University Medical Center February 5th, 2017 in Dallas, TX due to complications from a fast growing cancer. She was 49. Sarah was born on August 15th, 1967 in Grand Rapids, MI to her parents, Sylvester and Nova Amos. She graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in nursing. Sarah was a travel nurse and touched the lives of all her patients and friends she met along the way. She settled in Garland, TX in 2009 to help take care of her mother and was a faithful giving member of North Cities United Pentecostal Church. Sarah had such a kind spirit and was always willing to help her family even if it meant she was putting herself last. Sarah was famous for spoiling all the babies in the family and was a wonderful caregiver to her mother, Nova. Sarah is survived by her mother, Nova Amos; her brothers and sister in laws, Stanley & Jackie, David & Debbie, Tony & Annette, Nathan & Sherry; her nieces and nephews, Stephanie, Zachary, Amy, Ashley, Krystal, and Aaron; and her many great nieces and nephews. Sarah is preceded in death by her Father, Sylvester Amos. Sarah will be buried on February 8, 2017 at Orr Gish Funeral Home in Frederick, OK next to her father. A memorial will take place on February 10th at 6 p.m. at North Cities Church in Garland, TX. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Sarah Amos’ life.
