Buford Lee Swann

            Buford Lee Swann went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 9, 2017. He passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years, 11 months and six days. He was born February 3, 1931, in Union City, Mississippi, to George Washington Swann and Birdie Lou (Mayo) Swann. He grew up in Mississippi and came from Tupelo to Tillman County in 1961. He was united in marriage to Sally (Olivarez) Nunn on March 4, 1967, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He worked for the City of Frederick Sanitation Department for 18 years. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church of Frederick.             In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Sally Swann, on April 8, 2009; a sister: Ruth Hall; and a brother: Cleophus “Cleo” Swann.             Survivors include three sons: Charles Lee Swann and wife Jody, of Kiowa, Oklahoma, Robert M. “Bobby” Nunn and wife Maricela, of Wichita Falls, Texas, and Paul R. Nunn and wife Katy, of Vernon, Texas; a daughter: Carolyn Gray and husband Charles, of Frederick, Oklahoma;  12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren plus one on the way.
