Edith McClain

            Edith Twila McClain went to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 29, 2016. She passed away in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 95 years, 11 months and nine days. She was born on January 9, 1921, in Tipton Oklahoma. She attended Manitou Schools.  She was united in marriage to Albert Edgar McClain on July 20, 1938, in Frederick, Oklahoma.  She was a homemaker and a charter member of the Trinity Baptist Church, where she was active and faithful for many years.             In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Albert Edgar McClain on October 24, 1970; a son: Allen Doyle McClain on August 7, 1951; and two brothers:  Hubert “Red” Pitts on April 5, 1949, and Harry Hugh Pitts, on June 14, 2005.
