Linda Kay (Rector) Newville went to be with the Lord on Monday, December 19, 2016. She passed away at Norman, Oklahoma, at the age of 66 years, four months and three days. She was born August 16, 1950, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Hubert Charles and Doris Maurine (Raper) Rector. She grew up in and attended school in Oklahoma City, graduating from Capitol Hill High School with the Class of 1968. She was united in marriage to Lloyd “Dean” Newville, on November 23, 1968, at Western Heights Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. She worked at The Spinning Wheel, the City of Frederick and KYBE Radio where she retired from. She was an active member of Bible Baptist Church where she was involved with numerous ministries including: Christmas Drive-Thru (Hot Chocolate Trailer), Sunday Night Class Teacher, Vacation Bible School Teacher, Funeral Meals and many others. She loved to bake and she loved to spoil her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her brother: Hubert “Ray” Rector. She is survived by her husband: Dean Newville, of the home in Manitou, Oklahoma; two daughters: Lisa Combs and husband Stephen, of Frederick Oklahoma, Michelle Newville, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren: Kylie McFall and Kristian Combs; nieces: Shari Davis and husband Clint, of Oklahoma City, and Teresa Hasley and husband Jerry, of Georgia; and several great nieces and great nephews.
