Ruth Moeller

            Ruth Juanita (Owens) Moeller went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 28, 2016. She passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 89 years, nine months and five days. She was born February 23, 1927, east of Mountain Park, Oklahoma, to Walter Jackson and Ada Mary (Roberts) Owens. She married Harvey N. Moeller on June 2, 1945, in Hobart, Oklahoma. To their 64 year union, three children were born: Gary “Wayne”, Linda Adell and Sharon Marie. She was a well renowned farmer and rancher. She along with her husband did custom harvesting for several years, owned and operated rental properties and Mountain Valley Flowers in Snyder for 40 years. She and her husband were elected the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Family of the Year for Kiowa County in 2008. She was a member of the Oklahoma Farm Bureau Board, and a member of the different clubs within the communities, and a proud supporter of the local FFA Chapter, and a founding member of the Nazarene Church in Snyder.             She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harvey, on April 12, 2010; a son: Gary “Wayne” Moeller; a daughter: Sharon Marie Moeller; two brothers: Earl and Richard Owens; one sister: Jewel Patterson; a great granddaughter: Kandyce Belcher; and a grandson-in-law: Dan Barnard.             Survivors include one daughter: Linda A. Parks, of Snyder, Oklahoma; five grandchildren: Ret. MAJ Chad Parks and wife Kristi, of Choctaw, Oklahoma, Krysti Parks, of Snyder, Oklahoma, Kimberly Barnard, of Frederick, Oklahoma, Ret. MSgt Bryan Moeller Burns and wife Cyndi, of Edmond, Oklahoma, Michael Moeller Burns, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and families; great grandchildren: Joshua Belcher and wife Carrie, of Walters, Oklahoma, Dustin and Dillon Barnard, Frederick, Oklahoma, Kassey Meehan and husband Christopher, of Easley, South Carolina, Shynel Miller and husband Jordan, of Headrick, Oklahoma, and Kally Combs, Snyder, Oklahoma; 16 great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews to include a very special niece: Joan Eure, of Frisco, Texas; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
