Charles Wayne Simmons

            Charles Wayne "Charlie" Simmons went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 25, 2016. He passed away at his home in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 52 years and two  months. He was born July 25, 1964, in Henrietta, Texas, to Kenneth Dean and Ruby Inez (Chappell) Simmons. He grew up in Iowa Park, Texas. He was united in marriage to Betsy Anne (McPherson) on October 22, 2011, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and moved to Frederick. He was a wrecker driver for Gilmore Inc. in Iowa Park. He was “Popey” to his grandkids. He loved guns and was an avid tannerite “hell raiser”. He enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He loved people and he loved life. He was “Goodtime Charlie”.             Survivors include his wife: Betsy Anne Simmons, of the home in Frederick, Oklahoma; daughters: Keri Lynn Simmons, Bailey LeAnne Cervantes and husband Juan, Michelle “Shell” Sadler, Wichita Falls, Texas; a son: Blake Lee Sebree, all of Frederick, Oklahoma; a brother: Curtis Eugene Simmons, of Iowa Park, Texas; grandchildren: Chloe, Hayleigh, Preslee, Keaston, Leigha, Juan and Chelsea.
