Lee Edward Foley went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 24, 2016. He passed away at his home in Vernon, Texas, at the age of 80 years, five months and 22 days. He was born April 2, 1936, in Cordell, Oklahoma, to Lee Edward and Myrtie (Colvin) Foley. He grew up in Frederick and attended Frederick schools. He was united in marriage to Martha Nell Schiwart on August 12, 1959, in Vernon, Texas. She preceded him in death on September 13, 2007. He later married Mary Jane Burns on September 22, 2008. He lived most of his adult life in Vernon, working as a plumber for over 30 years. He also drove a school bus for 17 years. He enjoyed working outside in his yard. He was a member of the Vernon Baptist Church. In addition to his parents and his first wife Martha; he was preceded in death by a daughter: Addie Foley; a brother: John “J.B.” Foley; and a grandson: Bucky. Survivors include his wife: Mary Jane Foley, of the home in Vernon, Texas; two sons: John Barton Foley, Dallas, Texas, and Lee Edward Foley III, of Wichita Falls, Texas; two step-sons: Charlie Ivey, of South Carolina, and Wesley Ivey, of Dallas, Texas; one step-daughter: Charlene Haueter, of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home111 N. 11th StreetFrederick, OK 73542(580) 335-2112
