Donald Ray Bradley passed from this life on Tuesday, September 13, 2016. He died in Waller, Texas, at the age of 84 years and 13 days. He was born August 31, 1932 in Fredrick, Oklahoma, to Arlus Bradley and Rebecca Ogletree Bradley. He grew up in Frederick and attended Frederick schools. He entered the United States Air Force on January 14, 1953. He served in Vietnam and Korea. On January 13, 1957, he was honorably discharged with the following decorations: National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal Air Crew Member Badge, and Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation Emblem. After approximately a year, he re-entered the military and served an additional 20 years in the Air Force before retiring as a MSgt on January 15, 1974, with more than 24 years of service. He was united in marriage to Peggy Jean Hardester on January 11, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She preceded him in death on October 19, 2014. Among the many installations and bases he served at through the years, include: Oklahoma City, Wichita Falls and Austin, Texas. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a brother: Joe Bradley.
