Rose Marie Nevarez

            Rose Marie Nevarez went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She passed away at her daughter's home in Indiahoma, Oklahoma, at the age of 54 years, seven months and two days. She was born January 28, 1962, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Cresencio and Mary (Flores) Leyja. She graduated from Frederick High School with the Class of 1981. While in school, she was a Bombardier. She was united in marriage to Arnulfo Carlos Nevarez on November 21, 1980, in Lawton, Oklahoma.  She lived in Enid in the 1980’s; in Snyder during the 90’s and returned to Frederick in 2002. While her children were young, she was a stay at home mom. Then, she worked at BTR Automotive as well as Mr. Burger and Sonic. She had a deep love and passion for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Indiahoma.             She was preceded in death by her father Cresencio Leyja; and an infant brother: Cresencio Leyja, Jr.             Survivors include her husband Arnulfo Carolos Nevarez, of the home in Frederick, Oklahoma; a son: David Carlos Nevarez and wife Jamie, of Tuttle, Oklahoma; a daughter: Alicia Marie Alvarado and husband Manuel, of Indiahoma, Oklahoma; her mother: Mary F. Leyja Gonzalez and husband Ray, of Wichita Falls, Texas; a brother: Augustin Leyja, of Ardmore, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Alli Alvarado, Mabrie Alvarado and Ava Nevarez.
