Dovie Lucille Mitchell

            Dovie Lucille (Renfro) Airington Mitchell went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 4, 2016. She died at Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 83 years, nine months and seven days. She was born May 26, 1932, at Enid, Oklahoma, to Jesse James and Hazel Bell (Kimbriel) Renfro. She married Levi Airington in 1947. She later was united in marriage to Herman Mitchell in 1969, at Vernon, Texas. Dovie Lucille worked as a seamstress and was a housewife. She had lived in Hollister most of her life, but moved to Frederick in 2013. She was a member of the Hollister Baptist Church.             In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Herman, on April 11, 1992; two daughters: Eva Lowe and husband Charles and Lillis White and husband Van; three brothers: Charles “Buddy” Renfro, Nathan Renfro and Jesse “Jack” Renfro; five sisters: Estelle Kailey, Joshephine McBlair, LaDonna Mitchell, Arlene and Darlene Renfro; and four grandchildren: Annette Baker, Shelby Chacon, Donovan Airington and Shirley White.             Survivors include four sons: Levi Airington, Jr. Oklahoma City, Ernest Airington and wife Wilma, of Moore, Oklahoma, Richard Airington and wife Nelda, of Ardmore, Oklahoma, and Travis Airington and wife Becky, of Altus, Oklahoma; four daughters: Alice Teague and husband George, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, Gail Morris and husband Kenneth, of  Tucumcari, New Mexico, and LaDonna Turner and husband Mark, of Roosevelt, Oklahoma, and Sherry Braddock, of Frederick, Oklahoma; one brother: Robert Renfro and wife Virginia, of Azle, Texas; one sister: Rosemary Coffee and husband Curtis, of Modesto, California; 26 grandchildren; Michelle Daugherty, Chris Daugherty, Raymond Pyles, Lora and Brent Martz, Michelle Pyles, Mathew Pyles, Sheila Teague, Allan Teague, Leah Gaines, Sheila Airington, Harry Van White, Robert White, Kim and Mathen Moore, Tammy and Bill Lollar, Kenneth and Sharon Morris, Don “Skeeter” Higgins, Shonda and Steve Freeman, Kurtis and Kesh Morris, Donya and Mark LaFerr, Kami Bennett, Shane and Jennifer Moore, LaRhonda and Wes Arter, Myranda and T J McCorkle, Travis Airington, Christopher Hopkins, Misty and Gary Disbrow, Kryssi and Rojelio Barajas, and Mitchell Braddock and friend Bree Cooper; numerous great great grandchildren and several great great great grandchildren.Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home (580) 335-2112
