Margaret Goode went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2015. She passed away in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 98 years, eight months and 29 days. She was born December 27, 1916, in Detroit, Michigan, to August Peter and Mary (Tomaszewski) Wendt. She grew up in Michigan and lived in Concord and Detroit. In 1935, she was united in marriage to Audley Young Bills, in Angola, Indiana. Later in 1954, she married Edward Goode. During WW II in Detroit, all of the auto manufacturers became involved in servicing Defense contracts. She worked for the Cadillac Company that manufactured metal tanks until the end of the war, then stayed with Cadillac until 1955. They moved around due to her husband's military service, living in Michigan, Oklahoma (Fort Sill) and Florida. After retiring to Florida, she moved to Faxon in 2004, to be near family after her husband's passing. She loved seeing the kids at Camp Lu-Jo, birds, plants and flowers. In her earlier years she would spend hours on the banks of ponds and lakes fishing. She had a tremendous green thumb when it came to growing things. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Edward Goode, in 2004; three sisters: Cecilia, Agnes and Florence; two brothers: Jerome and Johnny; and a grandson: Christopher Jaye Bills. She is survived by a son: Leroy Bills and wife Betty, of Faxon, Oklahoma; three grandchildren: Timothy Bills and wife Laura, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, Michael Bills and wife Laura, of Keller, Texas, and Cricket Bills, of Faxon, Oklahoma; six great grandchildren: Travis Bills, Casey & Kendra Bills, Aldyn Bills, Joshua Bills, Lauren & Cody Payne, and Christian Bills & Ashley Coleman; three great great grandchildren: Karsyn Bills, Jayelee "Rosebud" Bills and Kale River Bills; numerous nieces and nephews including: Wally & Daye Goode, of Brixey, Missouri, and Ron & Mary Lou Arnold, of Michigan.
