Anoma Ann Vigus, of Hollister, Oklahoma, passed away Saturday, September 12, 2015, at the OU Medical Center, in Oklahoma City, at the age of 40 years, 10 months and 15 days. Arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. Viewing will be held on Friday and Saturday, September 18-19, from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. She was born October 28, 1974, at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to Robert and Karnachana "Eid" (Bunglung) McAtee. She moved around growing up due to her father's military service. She met Vencent Leonard Vigus in 1996 and they were united in marriage on February 22, 1999, in Michigan. Anoma was a hairstylist and specially enjoyed mixing colors and coloring hair. She served as the mayor of Hollister for 5 years until she stepped down in 2012, due to her health. She loved painting and kids. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxilary. She is survived by her husband: Vencent, of the home in Hollister, Oklahoma; parents: Robert and Eid McAtee, of Hollister; and her in-laws: Victor & Delores Vigus, also of Hollister; a daughter: Suhnun "Dany" Vigus, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; a brother: Mark Norton and wife Kelly, of Iowa; two sisters: Lori Norton-Meier and husband Dave, of Louisville, Kentucky, and Anotei Baatz, of Lewisville, Texas; five nieces and nephews: Caleb, Bryanna, Jake, Jill and Nicholas.
