Floyd David Lee went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 17, 2015. He passed away at his home in Superior, Arizona, at the age of 90 years, five months and 29 days. He was born February 19, 1925, at Floydada, Texas, to James and Rose Etta (Brown) Lee. He grew up in Lawton and joined the United States Army and served honorably in the Philippines. He was united in marriage to Letha Marie (Bradley) Pritchett on October 9, 1954, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He worked as a diamond core driller and moved around frequently with his job. He lived in numerous states, including: Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Montana and Arizona. After retiring from the mining industry, he lived and farmed in Montana for 27 years, and then he retired from farming in 2005. In 2009, he moved to Arizona to be near his daughter. In years past, he loved to attend Wrestling Matches. He enjoyed singing, listening to country music and watching westerns. He will always be remembered for his many "sayings". He was a proud longtime member of the NRA. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; 11 sisters; and a great granson: William McCaig, Jr. Survivors include his wife: Letha Marie Lee, of the home in Superior, Arizona; one daughter: Charlotte Ann Blair, also of Superior, Arizona; a brother: George Myers, of Arkansas; and three grandchildren: Debra Denise Cano, William Lesley Boyd McCaig and Michelle Renee Toller; 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild and one on the way.
