J B Hill went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 12, 2015. He passed away at his home in Chattanooga, Oklahoma, at the age of 93 years, 11 months and four days. He was born August 8, 1921, at Loveland, Oklahoma, to Fred Rudolph and Lee Helen (Hubble) Hill. He attended No. 11 Victory School. He enlisted in the United States Navy in September 25, 1943 and served during WW II as a Gunner Div Fireman 2nd Class. He was honorably discharged on December 22, 1945. He was united in marriage to Dorothy Conditt on April 20, 1945, at Hollister, Oklahoma. She preceded him in death on January 22, 2014. J B worked for Comanche County District 3 as a mechanic. He also farmed and had worked driving a truck. He was an avid collector and enjoyed buying and selling. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chattanooga. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Darnell Roberts; four sisters: Wortha Roache, Ruth Cooper, Juanita Glover and Freddie McKoen; four brothers: Z T Jake Hill, Roy Hill and two stillborn infants. He is survived by two sons: Nick Hill and wife Phyllis, of Burkburnett, Texas; Eldon Hill and wife Becky, of Whitesboro, Texas; one sister: Fern Cottrell, of Frederick, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Gina Roberts, Lawton, Oklahoma, Marlana Hill, Moore, Oklahoma, Jami Wolfe and husband Brad, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, Joni Ridley and husband Billy, of Apache, Oklahoma, Coby Hill, Burkburnett, Texas, and Curtis Hill, of Burkburnett, Texas; five great grandchildren: Kaygen, Journey, Alana, Gracen and Tracen; some very special friends: Rita and Pete Watts; a caregiver Debbie Antwine and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; as well as a very special little friend: Oscar.
