Ronnie LeDale Hickerson

Ronnie LeDale Hickerson went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 25, 2015. He passed away in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 63 years, one month, and 13 days. He was born May 12, 1952, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Robert Lynn "Bob" and Aldeen Lucille (Conditt) Hickerson. He grew up in Davidson, attending Davidson schools and graduated with the Class of 1970. He attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, Oklahoma, and then returned to Davidson to join his dad in the family business, Hickerson Electric. It became 3-H Electric and Ronnie has owned and operated it continuously. His work was very important to him and he had a strong work ethic. When he was young Ronnie was very athletic and enjoyed playing in co-ed softball tournaments. He loved to watch his kids compete in sports. He enjoyed playing golf. He was united in marriage to Debbie K. Coleman in July of 1996, in Vernon, Texas. He was a member of the Frederick Golf and Country Club and the First Baptist Church, of Davidson. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife on August 18, 1998; brother: Jimmie Don Hickerson on May 20, 2015; and his best friend: Chuck Briscoe on February 23, 2013. Survivors include six children: "J.J." Hickerson, Amarillo, Texas, Tammy Robinson and husband Darryl, of Elgin, Oklahoma, Ricky Coleman and wife Misty, of Davidson, Oklahoma, Billy Coleman and wife Natalie, of Celina, Texas, Aron Coleman and wife Amber, of Frederick, Oklahoma; and Shonna Coleman, of Celina, Texas; three sisters: Laquetta Ann Travis and husband Floyd, of Davidson, Oklahoma, Neva Lynn Kelly, Frederick, Oklahoma, and Debra Gene Williams and husband Jim, of Lindsay, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
