Peggy Jean (Hardester) Bradley went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 19, 2014. She passed away at Burkburnett, Texas, at the age of 79 years, two months and 16 days. She was born August 3, 1935, in Grandfield, Oklahoma, to Charles Claudus and Ruby Nell (Moore) Hardester. She attended Chattanooga Schools for all of her schooling and graduated with the Class of 1953. As a young lady, she had a weekly Gospel Radio Show at the Frederick radio station. She was united in marriage to Donald R. Bradley on January 11, 1958, in Wichita Falls, Texas. He served a military career in the United States Air Force and they moved numerous times. They lived in Vernon, Texas, Altus, Oklahoma, Lawton, Oklahoma, Wichita Falls, Texas, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, San Antonio, Texas and Austin, Texas, before returning and making Chattanooga home. She loved gospel music and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chattanooga. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband: Donald R. Bradley, of the home in Chattanooga, Oklahoma; a daughter: Donna Jean Bradley-Schrick and husband Richard Senasac, of Hempstead, Texas; one grandchild: Simon Schrick-Senasac; a sister: Bettie Harrell, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma; a brother-in-law: Joe Bradley and wife Louise, of Frederick, Oklahoma; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
