Cory Leigh Ramsey

Cory Leigh Ramsey went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 24, 2014. She died in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 29 years, one month and 22 days. She was born April 2, 1985, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Bill Ramsey and Janet Rhodes. She attended Frederick schools and graduated with honors from Frederick High School, Class of 2003. In high school, she was active in cheerleading, basketball, softball, student council and numerous other extra-curricular activities. She attended the University of Oklahoma and received her bachelor's degree in business in 2008. She worked at Arvest Bank in Norman for several years and had recently been promoted to the position of Financial Analyst. She enjoyed body fitness and loved "her babies" (dogs): Cha Cha, Chino and Chi Chi. She was a Catholic. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents: Harold Rhodes and Virginia Miller; and her paternal grandparents: Bill and Victoria Ramsey. Survivors include the love of her life, her fiance: Jason Tyler Pritchett; her father: Bill Ramsey, of Frederick, Oklahoma; her mother: Janet Rhodes, of Lawton, Oklahoma; two sisters: Keri Ramsey, of Headrick, Oklahoma, and Mandy Thomson and husband Justin, of Elk City, Oklahoma; step-brother Steven Trest of Lawton, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews: Ryan, Zachery, Issac, Tori, Taylor, Kennedy, Reagan, McKinley and Mia; two great nieces: Dani and Haelin; and a host of cousins.
