Randy David McDowell

Randy David McDowell went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 8, 2014. He died in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 56 years, 11 months and 21 days. He was born May 17, 1957, in Vernon, Texas, to John David and Ella Loreta "Reta" (Condra) McDowell. He attended Davidson and Frederick schools and later he and his mother Reta both obtained their GED's together. Randy worked as a farm laborer most of his working life and enjoyed a wonderful friendship and relationship with his employer Don Rose, of Tipton. He was a quiet, gentle, kind and generous man. He loved the outdoors and his cat "R.D.". He was preceded in death by his parents; his father: John McDowell on March 20, 2007, and his mother: Reta McDowell on January 26, 2011. Survivors include one brother: Richard "Dickie" McDowell and wife Debra, of Colbert, Oklahoma; four sisters: Kathy Harrington and husband John, of Frederick, Oklahoma, Brenda McDowell-Martineau, of Sherman, Texas, LaDonna Garza and husband Ray, of Lawton, Oklahoma, and Rhonda McDowell and Dean, of Frederick, Oklahoma; and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
