Martina "Martha" Rivera Flores went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 4, 2013. She died in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 87 years, six months and 1 day. She was born on May 3, 1926, to Natividad and Pascuala (Castaneda) Rivera, in Leander, Texas. She attended school in Leander, Texas. She married Ben Flores on October 29, 1939, in Frederick, Oklahoma. She worked as a housekeeper for Bethania Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX, Fryer Furniture in Frederick, and the Copa Motel in Frederick. She also worked as a nurse's aide at Pioneer Manor Nursing Home in Frederick. She loved sewing, crocheting, embroidering and gardening. She made the best tamales for friends and family to enjoy. She was a member of Primera Inglesia Bautista. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Ben, on January 1, 2011, one son: David Flores, three sisters, and four brothers. She is survived by seven sons: Manuel Flores, of Wichita Falls, TX, Jessie and wife Maryann Flores, of Wisconsin, Raymond and wife Dora Flores, of San Angelo, TX, Pete and wife Joyce Flores, of Marlow, OK, Simon and wife Delfina Flores, of Wichita Falls, TX, Enos and wife Brenda Flores, of Wichita Falls, TX, and Ben and wife Crystal Flores, of Oklahoma City; three daughters: Anita Delgado, of Frederick, Josie and husband Trinidad Corrales, of Frederick, and Martha Flores, of Wichita Falls, TX; 33 grandchildren; 104 great grandchildren, and 77 great great grandchildren.
