Randy Lynn Hanes went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 25, 2013. He died in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 46 years and 22 days. He was born on August 3, 1967, to Jessie Eugene and Billie Geraldine (Washburn) Hanes, in Vernon, Texas. He attended Frederick Schools and graduated from Frederick High School in 1986. In the 7th grade, he began a friendship with Kimi Strickland and they were together for 25 years. He worked at Vernon State Hospital, Vernon, Texas, Southwest Oklahoma Juvenile Facility, in Manitou. He was a member of the Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed 4 wheeling, motorcycles, music and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother: Jerry Hanes on March 17, 1976. He is survived by his life-long love: Kimi, of Frederick; two sons: Lucas Hanes and Levi Hanes, both of Frederick; one brother: Billy Hanes, of Elk City; four sisters: Jeannie Calvin and husband Harold, of Manitou, Janice Martin and husband Lloyd, of Lawton, Marsha Simon, of Lawton and Angela Johnson and husband Chris, of Tipton; two grandchildren: Trey Alan and Lamara Jane; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
