Victoria A. Calvillo went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 22, 2012. She died in Lawton, Oklahoma, at the age of 77 years, nine months and 12 days. She was born December 10, 1934, at Rosebud, Texas, to Francisco and Rafaela (Albarado) Adame. She grew up in Texas and was united in marriage to Ignacio G. Calvillo on June 9, 1952, at Calvert, Texas. They moved to Frederick in 1960. Victoria worked in the fields when she was young. She worked at Betsy Bra, Frybrant and later for Schlegel Automotive, where she worked as a press operator for 23 years and retired in 2003. She also volunteered for the Meals on Wheels program. She was a proud homemaker and loved to provide for her family. She enjoyed cooking and she loved to sing and dance, especially with her husband's band. She was a faithful member of St. Helen's Catholic Church, where she was active in the Altar's Society and Ladies Guild. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Ignacio, on October 28, 1978; a son: Greg Calvillo in 1972; a stillborn daughter Gloria in 1957; a brother: Angel Adame and a sister: Juanita Tijerina. Survivors include six sons: Antonio D. Calvillo, Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Peter Paul Calvillo, Frederick, Oklahoma, Luis Calvillo and wife Ana Maria, of Yukon, Oklahoma, Christopher Calvillo, Oklahoma City, Ignacio Calvillo, Jr. and wife Trudy, of Altus, Oklahoma, and Phillip Joel Calvillo, Lawton, Oklahoma; a daughter: Rosario V.
