Richard Lee "Ricky" Cotten went to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 5, 2012. He passed away in Sayre, Oklahoma, at the age of 54 years, 5 months, and 12 days. He was born on March 24, 1958, to Jodie Lou and Ruth Louise (Skaggs) Cotten, in Santa Paula, California. His family moved to Frederick, Oklahoma. He attended Davidson Schools until the 5th grade and then attended Frederick Schools. He moved back to California until he returned to Frederick in 1984. He married Angela Flores on October 24, 1992, at the Assembly of God Church in Frederick. He was self-employed by Richard's Haysales and recently was employed by ProHaul, in Sweetwater, Oklahoma. He was a member of the Frederick Quaterback Club. He was also a member of the Lighthouse Cathedral. He was preceded in death by his father: Jodie Lou Cotten on October 16, 1962, and his step-father: Bill Timberlake on April 13, 1997. He is survived by his wife: Angie Cotten, of the home; his mother: Ruth Louise Skaggs Timberlake, of Vernon, TX; one son: Blake Joseph Cotten, of the home; one daughter: Charity Brooke Cotten, of the home; two brothers: Tommy Cotten and wife Sandie, of Frederick,OK and Jerry Cotten, of Frederick, OK; seven nephews: Jeremy Cotten and wife Rachael, of Claremore, OK, Brandon Cotten and wife Keli, of Duncan, OK, Blake Cotten, Cody Duncan, Tyler Wirries, Trevor Flores, and Tarren Flores, all of Frederick, OK; seven nieces: Casey Cotten, of Midwest City, OK, Abby Cotten, of Frederick, OK, Brittany Flores, of Altus,OK, Destiny Barnard, Desiree Barnard, Matison Barnard, and Tori Flores, all of Frederick, OK; five great nephews: Brody Cotten, of Duncan, OK, Gage Cotten, of Midwest City, OK, Triston Wirries, of Frederick, OK, Anthony Jackson, and Steven Jackson, both of Altus, OK; three great nieces: Chesnie Cotten, of Midwest City, OK, Whitney Jackson, of Altus, OK, and NiaMiah Duncan, of Frederick, OK; two brothers-in-law: Danny Flores, Jr., and friend Sheri Barnard, of Frederick, OK, and Johnny Flores and his wife Lori, of Frederick, OK.
