Juanita Stuckey

Lititia Juanita "Granny" Stuckey, age 92, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at Hospice of Wichita Falls, Texas. Her service will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2012, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. Les Banks, of Frederick, and Mike Humble, of Lawton, officiating. Burial will be at the Chattanooga Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday evening at the funeral home. She was born on February 12, 1920, to Walter and Mae (Burnett) Branum, in Chattanooga, Oklahoma. She attended school in Chattanooga. She married Jim Wilford Stuckey on March 30, 1937, in Frederick, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and also a child care provider to numerous kids in the Chattanooga area. Her husband preceded her in death on March 29, 2007. She was a member of the Church of God in Faxon and later a member of the Cameron Church of God in Lawton. She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband; an infant brother, a brother: Lafon Branum; and a sister: Myrtle Tellis. She is survived by: two sons: Joe Stuckey, of Chattanooga, and Phillip "Pete" Stuckey and wife Janet, of Hereford, AZ; one sister: Viola Anderson and husband George, of Oregon; grandchildren: Phyllis Hill and husband Nick, of Burkburnett, TX; Penny Crow and husband Rob, of Chattanooga, Tonyia Sampognaro, of Carmel, CA, Shad Stuckey and wife Patti, of Chattanooga, Kathy McCollum and husband Michael, and Alan Krone and wife Claudia; great grandchildren: Marlana Hill, Jami Wolfe and husband Brad, Joni Ridley and husband Billy, Clancy and Cacy Crow, Coby and Curtis Hill, Bridgette, Sheridan and Mackenzie Sampognaro, Jeremy, Erika and Jared McCollum, and Carrie, Ryan and Clarissa Krone; five great great grandchildren: Kaygen, Journey, Alana, Gracen and Tracen; a special nephew: Jack Stuckey and wife Linda; and her special friend: Cindy Speer. She loved and was loved by all.
