Ruth Evaige went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 18, 2012, in Snyder, Oklahoma. She passed away at the age of 84 years, three months, and 1 day. She was born November 17, 1927, at Lone Wolf, Oklahoma, to Joe and Emmer (Jackson) Crane. She moved at an early age to Frederick and attended Boyd High School. She was united in marriage to Sam Evaige, in Frederick, Oklahoma. She worked at Red River Hospital in Wichita Falls, Texas, as a cook for over 17 years until her retirement. She loved children and she loved to cook. She was well known for her kind heartedness. She was a member of the Church of the Living God. She was preceded in death by her parents and seven brothers: Paul, James, Mark, Daniel, Eliza, Gentry, and John Crane; and four sisters: Rosie, Lillie, Martha, and Mary. Survivors include a son: George "Terry" Frenchie, of Dallas, Texas; two sisters: Esther Clark, of Frederick, Oklahoma, and Sarah Turner, of San Francisco, California; five grandchildren: GeVonte`, Litavia, Terriana, Tabarreus and Terrion Frenchie; three sisters-in-law: Katherine Crane, of Richland, CA, Jimmie Crane, of Topeka, KS, and Barbara Crane, of Connecticut; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
