Margaret L. Massey

Margaret Lou Massey went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2012. She died in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 85 years, one month and 14 days. She was born December 6, 1926, at Lebanon, Oklahoma, to T. F. and Sealia (Blevins) Massey. She grew up in Lebanon and attended Madill schools and graduated with the Class of 1945. After school, she went to work for Baldwin Variety Store, where she was employed for 11 years until 1956. She then began work for the Madill Record printing shop as a teletype setter, where she worked until her retirement in 1992. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church, of Madill, where she served as the Sunday School Secretary and enjoyed singing in the choir. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Everett, Herbert, and Cecil Massey; four sisters: Pearl Morgan, Myrtle Orr, Maxine Orr, and Flora Vickers. Survivors include: numerous nieces and nephews including: Donald Ray Morgan and wife Ann, of Madill, Oklahoma, Anna Mae Burns, Marietta, Oklahoma, Betty Jane Cabaniss, of Denison, Texas; and Joe Orr and wife Brenda, of Frederick, Oklahoma, Linda Collins, of Port Saint Lucie, Florida; and several great, as well as great great nieces and nephews.
