Jimmie D. Nolan went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 19, 2012. He passed away at a Snyder nursing center at the age of 74 years, 10 months, and 22 days. He was born on February 28, 1937, to Harvey Nolan, Sr. and Erma Wright Nolan, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He was the third child of twelve children. He attended Kennedy Elementary School. He was united in marriage to Vera Mae Chambers in 1967. Jimmie accepted Jesus as his savior, and was baptized by the late Bishop E. L. Bowie. He was a member of the Church of the Living God (Temple 219) in Frederick, Oklahoma. Jimmie enjoyed riding his bicycle, recycling cans, and talking to people. He was a happy person and didn't hesitate doing whatever he could for anyone. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife: six brothers: Harvey Nolan, Jr., Prentiss Nolan, Chester B. Nolan, William (W.L.) Nolan, Charles (C.W.) Nolan, and Jerry (J.L.) Nolan; and two sisters: Erma Jean Nolan Murchison and Billie Marie Nolan Smith. He is survived by: one brother: Anthony (Sally) Nolan, of Lawton; two sisters: Lola (Wade) Smith, and Gloria J. Nolan, both of Frederick; one aunt: Viola Brooks, of Phoenix, AZ; one sister-in-law: Gennieve Nolan, of Oklahoma City; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
