Unice Aline Whitener

She was born July 12, 1930 to Ezra and Kate (Fitzgerald) Rutledge, in Stringtown, Oklahoma. She married Thomas F. Whitener, Sr., on July 12, 1962, in Frederick, Oklahoma. She worked as a dishwasher for Joe Curtis Café for 15 years and then she worked at Harper's Restaurant. She also volunteered for many years at the Senior Citizen/Nutrition Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Thomas F. Whitener, Sr., on November 25, 1995;one son: Robert Eugene Whitener; three sisters: Nancy Marie Rutledge, Betty Coley, and Mary Jane Whitmire; and one brother: Walter Rutledge. She is survived by one son: Thomas F. Whitener, Jr., of Frederick, Oklahoma; one daughter: Gloria Faith Chiles, of Bowling Green, Kentucky; and three grandchildren: Thomas, Jessie and Samantha.
