Jack F. Perry went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, in an Oklahoma City hospital. Burial will be at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, May 2, 2011, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., at the Church of the Living God. He was born April 27, 1935 to Abe Gildon and Leona Perry, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He was raised by his grandmother, Lula Perry. He was united in marriage to Gwen Hillmon on December 11, 1987. Jack was a great baseball player and coach. He was employed by Dallas Airmotive as a machine inspector for 19 years. He was a Christian man who enjoyed reading the Bible, praying and going to church. He was a member of the Church of the Living God (C.W.F.F.) Temple #219 for many years. He worked with the Trustee's Board and was the treasurer at the church. He had many hobbies: football; watching courtroom shows; and playing dominoes with his brothers and long time friend, Minister Curtis Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents: Abe Gildon and Leona Perry; grandmother: Lula Perry; four brothers: Edward, Bobby, Bennie and Royce; and a sister: Peggy Whitehead. He is survived by his wife: Gwen Perry, of the home; seven sons: Floyd Perry, of Frederick, OK, Toby Perry (Ruthie), of Frederick, OK, Gary Perry (Linda), of Lawton, OK, Randy Perry (Gwendolyn), of Houston, TX, Kenneth Holmes (Debra), of Arlington, TX, Rickey Holmes (Anna), of Altus, OK, and Victor Holmes (Phyllis), of Frederick, OK; eight daughters: Jerri Wherry, of Newark, NJ, Crystal Jackson, of Frederick, OK, Gwendolyn Jackson (Robert), of Altus, OK, Jackie Ray (Tommy), of Altus, OK, Regina Cooper, of Frederick, OK, Diane Angle (James), of Ft. Worth, TX, Kay Lesley (Richard), of Indianapolis, IN, and Yolanda Johnson, of Lawton, OK; three brothers: Jackie Ray Gildon (Laquetta), of Frederick, OK, Troy Gildon, of Frederick, OK, and Pete Gildon, of Brea, CA; one sister: Lilly Malone (Plez), of Clinton, OK; 59 grandchildren; 55 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and special friends: Gerletha Peppers, Christine Holmes, Laverne Brown, Roosevelt Wood and Roosevelt Gildon.
