Louise Godfrey McDaniel

She was born on August 4, 1923 to Windle and Anna Mae (Arnold) Godfrey, in Manitou, Oklahoma. She attended grade schools in Canton, Ohio, Manitou, Oklahoma, and Thacker, Oklahoma. She graduated from Manitou High School in 1943. She married Hoyt W. McDaniel on June 23, 1946 at Alhambra Methodist Church in Alhambra, California. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Bellflower, California. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers: William E. Godfrey, in 2005, and Richard Arnold Godrey in 1968. She is survived by her husband: Hoyt McDaniel, of the home in Yucca Valley, California; one daughter: Grace Ann Johnson and husband Bob, of Fountain Valley, California; a sister: Joanne Gaye, of Las Vegas, Nevada; two granddaughters; one great granddaughter; one great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
