Margaret Annalee "Ann" Caldwell, of Frederick, Oklahoma, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 25, 2010. She died in Frederick, Oklahoma, at the age of 86 years, 10 months and seven days. She was born on January 18, 1924, to Floyd C. and Cora (Pearson) Emanuel, in Guymon, Oklahoma. They moved to Frederick in the late 1920's. Her grandfather, D. B. Pearson built a house in 1906 where Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home now stands. In 1930, the family moved to 1010 N. 12th. She graduated from Frederick High School in 1942. She married Benton Caldwell on April 6, 1947, in Frederick, Oklahoma. They lived at 405 Circle Drive for 58 years. Ann worked at the local Federal Land Bank and then at Farm Services Agency. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Builder's Sunday School class, leader of MYF and Beta Omicron ESA Sorority. She was also a Blue Bird and Camp Fire leader. She and her husband Benton were avid bridge players. She was a great supporter of sports and music activities of her children, her grandchildren and her great grandchildren and never missed any of these activities. Benton and Ann farmed all of their adult lives and owned an Oklahoma Centennial Farm. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Benton Caldwell on May 19, 1992; two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Floyd and Lois Emanuel; Sam Emanuel; and Pat Perry; and son-in-law: Darrel Riggins. She is survived by one daughter: Cathy Riggins; one son: Tony and Karen Caldwell, all of Frederick; five grandchildren: Bryan Riggins and Julane; Becky Karcher and Arron; Brett Riggins and Shandi; Cacy Caldwell; and Caly Caldwell; five great grandchildren: Bryanna Riggins and Justin Due; Natalee and Colby Karcher; and Cy Riggins.
