Louis Ayala

Louis Ramirez Ayala went to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 21, 2010. He died in Lawton, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years, three months and 20 days. He was born May 1, 1930, in Numaran, Michoacan, Mexico, to Martiniano and Cloetilde (Ramirez) Ayala. He grew up in Mexico and as a youth, he served in the Mexico Military Service. Then, at the age of 17, he moved to the United States and lived in Seymour, Texas. In 1950, he located to Tillman County and Frederick. He was united in marriage to Francis Flores, on August 29, 1958, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He began working on farms, and then at the feed lots for 24 years prior to his employment as a heavy equipment operator with the Tillman County District 2, where he retired from in 2009, after 28 years of service. He enjoyed farming and loved his grandkids and family gatherings. He was a Catholic. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers: Ignacio, Heriberto and Rodolfo; also an infant son and an infant daughter. Survivors include his wife: Francis, of the home, in Frederick, Oklahoma; a son: Joe Louis Ayala, Iowa Park, Texas; two daughters: Sylvia Ayala-Smith and husband James, of Chickasha, Oklahoma, and Arcelia Ayala Blankenship and husband Brent, of Duncan, Oklahoma; three brothers: Alfonso Ayala and wife Consuelo, Rafael Ayala and wife Carmela, and Juan Manuel Ayala, all of Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico; a sister Maria de la Luz, also of Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico; eight grandchildren: Montica and husband Gene Gordon, Andrew, Lane, Tori, Gabriella, Abigail, Louis Gage and Blaine Shockley; a great grandson: Braxten Gordon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
