Michael Anthony Diehl

Michael Anthony "Mike" Diehl went to be with the Lord on August 14, 2010. He died in Snyder, Oklahoma, at the age of 23 years, four months and 19 days. He was born on March 26, 1987, to Michael and Gillian (Russo) Diehl, at Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, under the Northern Lights. His father was in the United States Air Force and he lived in Illinois, California, Alaska, and then moved to Oklahoma in 2004. His family lived in Roosevelt and he attended Snyder schools, graduating from Snyder High School in 2005. He was united in marriage to Danielle Marie Lafont on May 10, 2008, at the Tipton Church of Christ. He worked for Southwestern State Sand. Mike loved to lift weights and motocross. Survivors include his wife: Danielle, of the home, in Snyder, Oklahoma; daughter: Haylee Jessica Diehl, also of the home, in Snyder; parents: Michael and Gillian Diehl, of Roosevelt, Oklahoma; a sister: Sammy Diehl, also of Roosevelt, Oklahoma; maternal grandparents: Tony and Patricia Russo, of California; paternal grandparents: Tom and June Mellinger, of Illinois.
