Arnulfo Puentes Funeral mass for Arnulfo Puentes, age 59, of Frederick, Oklahoma was held Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at 11:00, at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Frederick, Oklahoma A Rosary service was held at Gray Gish Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 23, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Puentes passed away Saturday, June 21, 2008 at a Lawton hospital. Burial was at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gray Gish Funeral Home. Arnulfo was born on December 19, 1948, in San Benito, Texas, to Florencio and Juana Rivera Puentes. He grew up in Sentinal, Oklahoma. He spent a short time in California, before returning to Tillman County in 1968. He married Viviana Urquidez and then later married Linda Arizmendi on November 4, 1991, in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a member of St. Helen's Catholic Church. He held various jobs as a handyman and laborer. He is survived by his wife: Linda of Tennessee; a son: Arnulfo Puentes Jr. and wife Jennifer, of Depot Bay, Oregon; a daughter: Mary Helen Puentes, and fiancé, Hector of Greenfield, California; four brothers: Jessie Puentes and wife Josie; Manuel Puentes and wife Juanita; David Puentes and wife Lupe, all from Frederick, Oklahoma; and Florencio Puentes and Cindy O'Brian of Quanah, Texas; six sisters: Maria Puentes; Anna Vasquez and husband Simon; Lupe Arumugam and husband Gam ; Tina Longoria and husband Ramiro, all of Frederick; Helen Richardson; Vala Olvera and husband Mario Olvera, all of Davidson, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Michaela, Adriana, Theodore, Michael, Joseph and Angel.
