            Funeral service for Anita Sue Kirk, age 67, of Tipton, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021, at First Baptist Church of Tipton, with Dustin Kirk (Son), and Kennon Dosher, officiating.

            Mrs. Kirk passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus.

            She was born September 15, 1954, in Rocky, Oklahoma, to James Darwin and Vera Viola (Rich) Glenn. She attended Tipton schools and graduated from Tipton High School with the Class of 1972. She was united in marriage to Arthur Wayne “A. W.” Kirk on September 15, 1978, at Tipton. Anita worked as a cook at the school cafeteria for a few years and later employed as a Quality Supervisor at Jackson County Memorial Hospital for 24 years and was working there at the time of her death. She loved to travel and enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandkids.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter: Emma Kirk; and a brother: Gary Glenn.

            Survivors include her husband: A. W. Kirk, of the home in Tipton; a son: Dustin Kirk and wife Jill, of Minco, Oklahoma; a daughter: Kasi Hilley and husband Obie, of Altus; two brothers: Darwin Glenn, of Henrietta, Texas, and Marlin Glenn, of Altus; two sisters: Beverly Holman and husband Mickey, of Tipton, and Sheila Arnold and husband (Jerry), of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren: Madison, Hayden and Jackson Kirk, and Cleila and Jesse Hilley.

            Memorial contributions may be sent to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Attn: Tribute Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148-0142, or the charity of the donor’s choice in loving memory of Anita Kirk.
