Ann Marie Burleson, aged 74, of Carnegie, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on January 27th, 2025. She was born on November 9, 1950, in Afton, Oklahoma, to her father, Dewey Teague and Mother, Sadie Teague (Eslick).
Ann was a devoted wife to the late Frank George Burleson Sr., who preceded her in death on August 31, 2021. Together, they built a loving family that brought her much joy and pride. She is survived by her three children: Frank George Burleson Jr. and Mark Wane Burleson, both of Carnegie, Oklahoma, and Charlotte Ann Nix of Redfield, Arkansas.
Ann was a warm and loving individual whose greatest joy in life came from spending time with her family. Her love and devotion to her loved ones were evident in every moment they shared.
Ann cherished her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Johnathon Burleson, Cory Burleson, Destinee Burleson, Demetris Petty, Mckala Petty, Bo Burleson, Gabbi Burleson, Aspen Nix, Hannah Nix, Walter Nix III, Alexa Nix, Ryan Burleson, Evan Burleson, River Powers, and Harper Burleson; as well as her great-grandchildren: Mercy Burleson, Clara Gregory, and Malachi Keys.
She is also remembered fondly by her siblings Corinne Duncan and Shirley Sheffield. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Frank Burleson Sr. as well as her brothers George Teague, J.E. Teague, E.J. Teague, and William Teague; and other loved ones who have gone before her.
Ann’s life was marked by love for her family and the many memories she created with them. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
