Private family graveside for Billy Lynn "Bill" Tucker, age 93, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Les Banks officiating.

Mr. Tucker passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024, in Vernon, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 30, 2024, at the funeral home. 

He was born July 14, 1931, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, to William Chester and Carrie Montez (Stroud) Tucker. He attended Isom Spring and Kingston schools. He graduated from Kingston High School with the Class of 1951. He was united in marriage to Barbara N. Deadmond on September 6, 1975. Bill worked in the oil fields 11 years. He worked at Western Uniform and Towel Service for 30 years. He also worked at BancFirst in Frederick. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Frederick.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a step-son: Robert Deadmond; a sister: Lawanna Cooper; step-daughter-in-law: Heidi Deadmond; sisters-in-law: Emerita Schroeder, and Janet Stuckey; 

He is survived by his wife: Barbara Tucker; step-children: Paul Deadmond III, of Arlington, Texas, James Deadmond and wife Diana, of Vernon, Texas, Randal Deadmond and wife Teresa, of Zebulon, North Carolina, Cynthia Walker and husband Jay, of Amber, Oklahoma; daughter-in-law: Debbie Deadmond, of Ridgeway, Virginia; brothers-in-law: Vernon Cooper, of Kingston, Oklahoma, and Don Schroeder, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; nephews: Keith Davis and wife Patti, of Kingston, Oklahoma, Lance Davis, also of Kingston, Oklahoma; nieces: Tamara Harris, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Tiffany Harris, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, numerous great nieces, nephews, and friends.
