Brice Prescott

            Graveside service for Brice Prescott, age 81, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2019, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Brent Morey officiating.

            Mr. Prescott passed away Friday, June 7, 2019, at his home.

            Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

            He was born December 11, 1937, near Frederick, Oklahoma.  He attended Frederick schools and graduated from Frederick High School with the Class of 1956. He was united in marriage to Gwenna Landrum on April 20, 1950, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He worked as an elected official for many years with the City of Frederick as the Street Commissioner. He enjoyed fishing with his buddies. He was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Frederick.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild: Matthew Hawkins and a great granddaughter: Katlyn Prescott.

            Survivors include his wife: Gwenna, of the home in Frederick; two daughters: Martha Hawkins, of Duncan, and Glenda Longacre and husband Chris, of Shawnee; a son: Don Prescott and wife Lisa, of Frederick; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
