Camille Gaines

            Funeral service for Camille Gaines, age 59, of Davidson, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at the First Baptist Church of Frederick with Rev. Les Banks officiating.

            Camille passed away Sunday, March 31, 2019, at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

            Burial will be in the Davidson Cemetery, Davidson, Oklahoma, under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home

            She was born November 3, 1959, in Vernon, Texas, to Carroll and Drucilla (Wagoner) Edwards. She grew up and attended Vernon schools and graduated from Vernon High School with the Class of 1978. She was united in marriage to Craig B. Gaines on August 5, 1978, at Vernon, Texas. She worked at First State Bank of Davidson for 21 years and most recently worked the past five years at Quality Implement in Frederick, where she was working at the time of her death. She loved going to the mountains and also fishing in the summer time. Her passion was her family and especially her grandkids.

            She survived by her husband: Craig, of the home in Davidson; two daughters: Casey Marsh and husband Justin, of Vernon, Texas, and Cayla Ellis and husband Philip Michael, of rural Frederick; and a son: Colton Gaines, also of rural Frederick; a sister: Janet Gower and husband David, of Vernon; mother-in-law: Marsha Gaines, of rural Davidson; three grandchildren: Kade Marsh, Charli Marsh and Stevie Dru Ellis; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother: Randy Edwards; and her father-in-law: Thomas Albert “Tom” Gaines, Jr.; and her four legged family member: a Saint Bernard named Roxy that she had for 13 years.
