Deana Sue Edmonds

     Deana Sue Edmonds, age 84, of Chattanooga, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. She died in a Lawton, Oklahoma, nursing care center.
    Arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home, of Frederick.
    She was born May 4, 1938, in Lawton, Oklahoma, to Clifford and Helen (Brown) Kelley. She attended Chattanooga schools and graduated from Chattanooga High School with the Class of 1956. She married Jack Morrison on December 27, 1956, in Wichita Falls, Texas. She was a homemaker and loved to sew. Later she married Johnnie Edmonds in December of 1975. He preceded her in death. She enjoyed working in her yard and was fond of her bird feeders. She united with Joe Butler in 1983. She and Joe were side by side and he was “grandpa” to the grandkids. They cherished their time together. He passed away in 2007. She loved her dogs and considered them her babies. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church of Chattanooga.  
    She is survived by a son: Kelley Morrison and his wife Kathy; a daughter: Kim Fortney and husband Mike, all of Chattanooga; 10 grandchildren: Nick Morrison (Heidi), Tony Morrison (Tina), Melissa Shaw, Matt Shaw (Morgan), Dusty Borden (Wendy), Kris Borden, Tiffany Schrick (Trent), Brian Fortney (Brandy), Rusty Fortney, and Zerrae Fortney; and 22 great grandchildren.
