            Funeral service for Ellen H. Willis, age 83, of Arlington, Texas, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 24, 2022, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Pastor Clark Jones Sr. officiating.

            Mrs. Willis passed away Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at a Wichita Falls rehab center.

            Burial will be in the Electra Memorial Park Cemetery, Electra, Texas, under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home of Frederick, Oklahoma.

            She was born July 4, 1938, in Forney, Texas, to Nathaniel Willis and Ida (Grant) Love. She attended Oklaunion schools. She was united in marriage to Wallace Sillemon Sr. She lived in Arlington, Texas, and worked as a school cafeteria cook for the Dallas Independent School District for many years. She recently moved to Wichita Falls, Texas, to be near family. She loved to cook and enjoyed fishing, playing dominoes, bingo and spades.

            She was preceded in death by her father: Nathaniel Willis Sr.; her mother: Ida Love; a son: Wallace Sillemon Jr.; two daughters: Linda Faye Sillemon, and Lorane Miller; four brothers: Nathaniel Willis Jr., Frank Willis, Joe Hampton, and Edward Bishop Sr.; one sister: Juanita Darden; and a granddaughter: Cumia Mitchell.

            Survivors include two sons: Leroy Sillemon (Katrina), of Wichita Falls, Texas, and James Sillemon, of Wichita Falls, Texas; a brother: Johnny Bishop Sr., of Frederick, Oklahoma; a sister: Dorothy Smith, of Frederick, Oklahoma; grandchildren: Linda Hall, Gloria Hall, David Sillemon, James Benard Miller, Gregory Miller, Kinnetra Allen, A’shia Allen, Courtland Allen, Jarell Sillemon, Terrell Sillemon, Jerome Sillemon, Danielle Sillemon, Cynthia Sillemon, Nicole "Ricky" Mitchell and LaToshia Marsico (Alfredo); 21 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
