Jerry Lynn Wiley

            Funeral for Jerry Lynn Wiley, age 59, of Hollister and Frederick, will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 29, 2019, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. David Kirby, pastor of Tesca Baptist Church, officiating.

            Mr. Wiley passed away Monday, November 25, 2019, near Hollister.

            Private family burial will be in the Hollister Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home of Frederick.

            He was born January 18, 1960, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to John B. and Wanda (Murr) Wiley. He attended Frederick schools and graduated with the Class of 1978. After high school, he volunteered as an EMT. He lived in the Frederick area all of his life and worked as a farmer. He married Melissa Sales in November of 1984. He later was united in marriage to Jean Miller on December 31, 2007. She preceded him in death in December of 2013. He was an avid gun and ammunition collector. He enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, old westerns and he was a Star Trek fan. He loved to go have coffee each morning with friends at the COOP. He was a member of the Tesca Baptist Church and was an ardent supporter of the Tipton Home.

            He is survived by a daughter: Nellie Holman and husband Landon, of Oklahoma City; a son: Bradley Wiley and fiancé Kim Herrera, of Frederick; and seven grandchildren: Bryce, Lexi, Jake, Hudsyn, and Bostyn Holman and Javen and Jaslyn Herrera.
