Loretta C. Gaytan

            Funeral mass for Loretta C. Gaytan, age 65, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Saint Helen’s Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Joseph David, pastor, officiating.

            Mrs. Gaytan passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at her home.

            Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

            Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.

            She was born June 20, 1956, in Gila Bend, Arizona, to Jose and Emma Chavez Zuniga. She moved to Oklahoma and grew up in Tipton and Frederick. She was united in marriage to Tomas Gaytan Orozco in September of 1974 in Frederick. She enjoyed gardening and loved birds. She loved and was so proud of her kids and grandkids. She was a homemaker and also worked as a caregiver. She was a member of St. Helen’s Catholic Church.

            She is survived by four sons: Tomas Gaytan Jr. (Laura), San Antonio, Texas, Gustavo Gaytan (Marilyn), Frederick, Oscar Gaytan (Keri),Frederick, and Noel Gaytan, of Frederick; a daughter: Jessica Gaytan (Gabriel), of Frederick; five brothers: Celestino Zuniga (Tina), Odessa, Texas, Arcadio Zuniga, Lawton, Jose Zuniga Jr., Wylie, Texas, Cecilio Zuniga, Lawton, and Ventura Zuniga, of Frederick; six sisters: Amelia Sanchez, Frederick, Gloria Hicks (Eddie), Frederick, Ramona Ibarra (Juan), Frederick, Josephine Castaneda (Juan), Frederick, Maggie Bowers (Ivie) of Midland, Texas, and Socorro Enriquez, of Fresno, Texas; 14 grandchildren: Jose Omar, Alexandrea, Hayden, Tomas III, Emialano, Gustavo Jr., Adrian, Mariana, Leyja, Mya, Elijah, Zac, Rolando Delfino and Audrey.
