Funeral service for Louis Gonzales Flores, age 70, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at the Restoration Church with Bro. Ronnie Morgan, pastor of Deep Water Ministries, and Bro. Johnny Flores, Restoration Church, officiating.

Mr. Flores passed away Saturday, October 12, 2024, at his home in Frederick. Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at the funeral home.

He was born May 5, 1954, in Frederick, Oklahoma, to Frank and Josephine (Gonzales) Flores. He attended Weaver school and began working as a youth to help provide for family. Louis lived in Frederick most all of his life. He moved to San Antonio, Texas, in 2007, and returned in 2009. He was a skilled farmer. He worked at Alpine Gin, Brantley Manufacturing, Stockman's Milling, Cassidy Grain, and Craig Ripley Farms. Louis was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and Christian. He was a member of Deep Water Ministries and loved playing the drums on the praise team for the Lord Jesus Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Frank and Josephine Flores; a brother: Frank Flores, Jr.; one sister: Mary Gutierrez; two brothers-in-law: Jimmy Chandler and Jessie Gutierrez; and a sister-in-law: Judy Flores.

Survivors include his wife: Barbara Marie Gonzales Flores, of the home in Frederick; five sons: Dustin Flores, of Frederick, Scott Flores, of San Antonio, Texas, Patrick Flores, of Frederick, David Flores, of San Antonio, and Elijah Flores, of Frederick; two daughters: Crystal Nuncio, of Frederick, and Amber Flores, of Gulf Breeze, Florida; five brothers: Tony Flores, of Lawton, Jesse Flores, Ezekiel Flores, Cecil Flores, and Danny Flores, all of Frederick; four sisters: Molly Chandler, Frederick, Nina Ybanez, of Edmond, Del Fina Ramos, Frederick, and Lisa Noyola, of Frederick; 20 grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
