Margaret Scott

Funeral service for Margaret Scott, of Altus, formerly of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, November 4, 2024, at Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. Al Kelly Sr., pastor of First Baptist Missionary Church of Frederick, officiating.  Burial will be at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

She born August 27th, 1934, in Ennis, Texas, passed away peacefully at the age of 90 on October 27, 2024, in Altus, Oklahoma.

Margaret was a member of the First Baptist Missionary Church in Frederick Oklahoma where she served as an usher for many years. Margaret dedicated her Sundays to church. She loved the lord. In her spare time, she loved to sew and spend time with her friends and family. When she could help, she never minded helping in any way she could.

Margaret leaves behind two daughters: Betty Scott and Brenda Scott of Altus, Oklahoma; one brother: Damon Furnace, of Killeen, Texas; 12 grandchildren: Patricia Scott of Oklahoma City, Christopher Scott of Altus, Lisa Scott of Altus, Leslie Scott of Houston, Texas, Jennifer Scott of Lubbock, Texas, Jeffery Scott of Hobart, Oklahoma, Vanessa Scott of Lawton, Oklahoma, BJ Scott of Altus, Oklahoma, Crystal Scott of Lawton, Marvin Scott of Altus, and Mindy Scott of Altus. She also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
