Marsha Sue Stone

            Memorial service for Marsha Sue Stone, age 73, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022, at the First United Methodist Church of Frederick with Reverend Les Banks officiating.

            Marsha passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at her home in Frederick.

            Arrangements are under the direction of Orr Gray Gish Funeral Home.

            She was born August 3, 1948, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to George Brown (Brick) Snider and Mary Lacy (Morrison) Snider. She grew up in Waurika and attended school there. After graduating Waurika High School, she attended Oklahoma State University. She worked as a secretary at the First Southwest Bank in Frederick, Department of Human Services, and for the Texas A&M Agriculture Research in Vernon. Most recently, she worked at the Community Action Development Corporation in the Frederick office. She also was the coordinator for the Salvation Army in southwest Oklahoma. She was a huge animal lover and always had pets. She was also an avid Oklahoma Sooners fan. Marsha was a light in the community and in any room she walked into. She was known for her incredible and contagious laugh and for a big heart always wanting to help others in need. The loving mother of two boys, she was their greatest cheerleader, always supporting them at every baseball, basketball and football game. She laughed big and loved big and adored her grandchildren always delighting in them. Her joyful presence and warmth made an impact on so many people. She will be missed and loved forever. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Frederick.

            Survivors include two sons: Josh Terrell and wife Andrea, of Norman, Oklahoma, and Charlie Stone and wife Cassie, of Wichita Falls, Texas, a brother: Steve Snider, of Fort Worth, Texas; and four grandchildren: Halley and Hayden Terrell, and Emerson and Stella Stone.

            Memorial contributions may be sent to the Salvation Army, 105 S. 10^th Street, P.O. Box 989, Frederick, Oklahoma, 73542, in loving memory of Marsha Stone.
