Nancy Willson

            Memorial service for Nancy Charlyne Willson, age 65, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2019, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Rev. Brandon Steed, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating.

            Mrs. Willson passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019, at the OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

            She was born July 29, 1954, in Vernon, Texas, to William and Nila Charlyne (Emmett) Wofford. She grew up in Frederick and attended Frederick schools, graduating with the Class of 1972. She attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. She was united in marriage to James Melvin “Jim” Willson on February 28, 2002, in Frederick. He preceded her in death on May 26, 2019. Nancy worked as a caregiver for many years in Frederick and the surrounding area. She was very intelligent and deeply compassionate. She extended love to all those she cared for.

            She is survived by a brother: Charles Wofford and wife Cindy, of Tipton; nephews: Chad Wofford and wife Anna, of Davidson, Chase Wofford and wife Heather, of Tipton; a niece: Melissa Lamar and husband Jeremy, of Tipton; and four great nieces: Kassadi, Kennadi, Tiffani and Rose.

She always considered her extended family: Allan and Diane Gant, Brent and Debbie Morey, Johnny and Pam Hester, Johnny and Vickie Blanton and last but certainly not least, Omega Floyd.
