Nola Beck

        Memorial graveside service for Nola Lenora Beck, age 82, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday April 21, 2023, at the Frederick Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Jim Roberts, pastor of the First Christian Church of Frederick, officiating.

           Mrs. Beck passed away Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Ayers Nursing Home in Snyder, Oklahoma.

            She was born March 24, 1941, in Cumberland, Kentucky (Sawmill Holler), to Leonard and Oma (Hall) Brown. She moved from Kentucky to Cleves, Ohio, in 1950. She was united in marriage to Robert Calvin Beck Sr. on April 21, 1961. She was a number one homemaker. She moved to California in 1977. She raised 10 children and one grandchild. She loved making homemade jellies, and pineapple apricot was the family favorite. She made the jelly from her own apricot trees in the backyard. She had a magnificent green thumb and could grow anything. She loved her family: her children, all her grandbabies and great grandbabies. She was passionate for the Lord and her church family at First Christian Church of Frederick.

            She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two sons: Roger Beck and Ryan Beck Sr.; sisters: Ossie Eldridge and Lois Lowen; brothers: Floyd Brown, Bill Brown, and Chester Brown; a son-in-law: Robert Caudill; and a grandchild: Robbie Beck.

            Survivors include her children: Robert Beck Jr. (Lori), Richard Beck, Raymond Beck (Jodi), Renee Beck Caudill, Ronnie Beck (Shelli), Rona Beck, Roberta Beck Arias (Mario), Clay Beck (Lisa), and Ryan Beck Jr. (Cathy); one brother: Leonard Brown; a sister: Louise Cary; 36 grandchildren; 103 great grandchildren with three on the way, plus a bonus great grandchild; and one great great grandchild on the way.
