Pedro "Pete" Ramirez

            Funeral service for Pedro “Pete” Ramirez, age 77, of Frederick, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at the Orr Gray Gish Chapel with Reverend Pete Vasquez officiating.

            Mr. Ramirez passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at his home in Frederick.

            Burial will be in the Frederick Memorial Cemetery, Frederick.

            He was born born December 6, 1942, in Zimapan, Mexico, to Gregoria Trejo. He was united in marriage to Isabelle Leyja Garcia on May 7, 1975. Pedro worked for John Deere beginning in 1974. He also worked for Pete Hatfield and Jerry Strickland. He worked for several years at the Cotton Gin and also worked in construction in Frederick. Pete enjoyed shooting pool (billiards) and fishing.

            He was preceded in death by a son: Celestino Ramirez, on December 10, 1991.

            He is survived by five daughters: Sandra Ramirez, of Crossett, Arkansas, Hope Lawler and husband Charles, of Saint Louise, Mississippi, Sally Ramirez, of Frederick, Henrietta Garcia, of Frederick, and Vicky Woods and husband Donnie, of Woodward, Oklahoma; two sisters and one brother in Mexico; and numerous grandchildren.
